The House of Noor
A place to gather, learn, share, and return to what matters.
We need a village again.
The House of Noor was created from a simple belief, we need a village again.
Somewhere along the way, we lost some of the everyday connection that once brought people together, sharing what we know, learning from one another, telling stories, laughing, supporting each other through life, and simply having a place where we feel welcome.
I want The House of Noor to help rebuild that.
This is a gathering place for people from all walks of life, cultures, backgrounds, and faiths from across the globe. A place to talk about home, family, intentional living, natural wellness, homeschooling, faith, traditions, and the new ways we are learning to live our lives with greater purpose.
You don’t have to live the same way, come from the same place, or believe the same things to have a seat here.
Meet Meara
I’m Meara, a wife, mother,Amma (grandmother),LPN, homeschool mom, homemaker, beginner gardener, and lifelong learner.
After spending years working in healthcare, I’ve found myself becoming increasingly interested in how we care for ourselves and our families outside of the clinical world, learning more about herbs, natural wellness, prevention, growing food, making a home, homeschooling, and simply living with more intention.
My own life has exposed me to many different faith traditions and ways of seeing the world. That journey is part of why creating a space where people can genuinely listen to and learn from one another matters so much to me.
I’m not here because I have everything figured out. I’m learning too.
And I think some of the best conversations happen when we stop pretending we have all the answers and start sharing what we’re discovering along the way.
The Podcast
The House of Noor podcast is the gathering place.
It’s where I sit down with people from around the world to talk about life, home, family, faith, freedom, homeschooling, natural living, changing direction, building something meaningful, and all the different ways people are choosing to live with intention.
Sometimes we’ll learn something.
Sometimes we’ll question something.
And sometimes we’ll simply have a really good conversation.
